A rapid 45-day renovation transformed the aging Banjo’s Lake, Boralesgamuwa restaurant into a vibrant contemporary lakeside destination. The design reimagines the existing structure while preserving its connection to the water, creating layered dining spaces that seamlessly blend indoor and outdoor experiences. Inspired by the musical journey of its client, a renowned Sri Lankan singer, the interior celebrates different musical eras through carefully curated elements.

Warm amber, gold, and deep brown tones, combined with textured materials, exposed metal, and atmospheric lighting, establish a cozy yet energetic ambiance. Repurposed musical instruments and vinyl records become artistic focal points, shaping a dynamic hospitality space where architecture, music, and atmosphere harmoniously converge.
